Municipal Health Officer
The Municipal Health Officer leads the delivery of health services in the Municipality of New Corella. The office implements primary healthcare programs, promotes disease prevention and control, monitors public health concerns, conducts sanitation-related services, and supports the operation of local health facilities such as rural health units and barangay health centers.
Through accessible and community-based health services, the Municipal Health Office helps protect public health, promote wellness, and build a healthier and more resilient New Corella.
Mandate
Health Services are mandated to foster a healthy community by providing accessible, quality, and comprehensive primary healthcare services and promoting a health-supportive environment for all constituents of the Municipality of New Corella. These services include the implementation of primary healthcare programs, maternal and child health services, disease prevention and control, outbreak monitoring, contact tracing, infection control, sanitary inspection of establishments, health information campaigns, public health advisory support, frontline health services during disasters and calamities, and management of local health facilities such as rural health units and barangay health centers.
