MUNICIPAL MAYOR

Hon. Jorjan “Monet” B. Federiso leads the Municipal Government of New Corella with a strong commitment to public service, accountability, and inclusive local development. His leadership focuses on strengthening government operations, improving the delivery of basic services, supporting community development, and promoting programs that uplift the quality of life of every New Corellahanon.

Under his administration, the local government continues to pursue responsive governance, sustainable progress, disaster resilience, and a service-oriented municipal bureaucracy guided by the principle of “Lambo Pamilya, Uswag New Corella!”

Mandate

The Office of the Municipal Mayor is mandated to serve as the chief executive of the municipality. It exercises general supervision and control over all programs, projects, activities, and services of the LGU; enforces laws and ordinances; ensures the delivery of basic services and adequate facilities; develops management and administration-related plans and strategies; delivers administrative support during and after disasters or calamities; and performs other duties mandated by law or ordinance.

A premier eco-cultural tourism destination with a socially empowered and disaster-resilient community, living in a competitive, agri-industrialized, and ecologically balanced environment, governed by committed public servants.

Mission

To improve the quality of life of every New Corellahanon by promoting total human development, strengthening multi-sectoral participation in local governance, protecting the environment, adopting sustainable agri-based technology, ensuring effective delivery of basic social services, managing a progressive local economy, and building a climate change-resilient community.

Organizational Outcome

The Office of the Municipal Mayor aims to achieve effective governance and leadership, efficient delivery of basic services, maximized resource and revenue generation, responsive law enforcement and peace and order, disaster resilience and climate change adaptation, transparent and accountable administration, engaged and empowered communities, effective human resource management, and a streamlined municipal bureaucracy.
