Office Head

The Tribal Section supports the municipal government in addressing the needs, welfare, rights, and development concerns of Indigenous Peoples and tribal communities in New Corella. The section assists in cultural preservation, community coordination, program implementation, documentation, and referral services in partnership with barangays, tribal leaders, concerned offices, and national agencies.

Mandate

The Tribal Section is mandated to support programs, services, and coordination efforts that promote the welfare, rights, cultural identity, and participation of Indigenous Peoples and tribal communities in local governance, development planning, and public service delivery.

Vision

An inclusive, respectful, and culturally responsive New Corella where Indigenous Peoples and tribal communities are empowered, protected, and actively involved in sustainable local development while preserving their heritage and identity.

Mission

To assist Indigenous Peoples and tribal communities in accessing government programs, services, and development opportunities.

To support the preservation and promotion of Indigenous culture, traditions, and community identity.

To coordinate with tribal leaders, barangays, municipal offices, and partner agencies in addressing tribal community concerns.

To promote inclusive participation of Indigenous Peoples in local planning, governance, and community development.

To assist in documentation, referral, and program coordination for tribal welfare and development services.

To contribute to a peaceful, inclusive, and culturally respectful municipality where all communities are represented and served.
